Job Description

The Cloud Network Engineer will support DCSA's Program Execution Office (PEO) Cloud Management team. The support includes the development of Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) technical roadmaps, designing and standardizing architectures, developing migration plans and conducting Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs) that support DCSA vision for cloud adoption across various networks.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5 - 8 years of experience. 4 Years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education Technical knowledge and customer support skills to assist users, managers.
  • Must have current Secret Clearance
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Experience supporting the IC community is highly desired
  • Familiar with industry standard help desk tools including ServiceNow and Remedy
  • At least 5 years experience as a network engineer, 2 of those years must include cloud experience
  • Full understanding and ability to debug common networking protocols, VLANs, routing protocols, etc.
  • Experience migrating to and setting up Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) instances
  • Understands the CI/CD pipeline and AWS Infrastructure as Code (IaC) including Chef, Puppet, Ansible
  • This task involves planning, participation in event, data analysis and evaluation.

Desired Skills:

  • Certification in AWS Advanced Networking, Cisco CCNP or CCIE, VMware VCP-NV
  • Experience in several scripting languages including PowerShell, bash, and python
  • Systems administration level experience in both Windows and Linux environments
